Mental Illness: The stigma portrayed in pictures

Mental illness is a large problem in the world today, but what is even more of a problem is how we are treating those with mental illnesses. The literal treatment (medications, psychotherapy, mental institutions, etc.) and emotional treatment as friends, coworkers, family, and strangers needs to change. And now. In order to see a change in today's society- we need to treat people with mental illnesses with respect and dignity. We need to be more empathetic and understanding as to how people feel. And we need to educate ourselves and others on what is really going on inside the brain of others.
I could go on and on about this topic, but i'll save that for later. Instead here are a few pictures I found on the internet (sources are listed below the photo) that visually represent the stigma related to mental illnesses in today's society.
